Update Software: Ensure that both your current and new versions of Sage 50 up-to-date. Installing the latest updates helps address any potential compatibility issues and ensures that you benefit from the latest features and bug fixes.
Review System Requirements: Verify that your system meets the minimum requirements for the new version of Sage 50 2024. This includes checking hardware specifications, operating system compatibility, and other prerequisites.
Follow the below-mentioned ways to use and regulate the Sage Migration Tool
First and foremost, Log in to the new server as an administrator and download Sage 50.
Now, Sage Timberline Office Accounting must be set up.
After this, On the new server, it grants you access to the Sage Migration Tool.
Thereafter, Run the Sage migration application on the new server by heading to C: Program Files (x86)Timberline OfficeShared).
Next, Start the Sage.STO.ServerMigrator.exe program.
Hit on Browse, for the next step.
After the subsequent step, locate the 9.5 folders from the previous server.
Next, click the Validate button to validate the log file path, old server location, and new server location.
For the next step, proceed to Click the Migrate button to begin the migration process
Once done, hit the Close button.
For the last step, Examine the Server Migration Log.
It is frequently encountered in the path- [servername]Timberline Office9.5AccountingMigration.
This will allow you to examine the sent data.
